"... Just a short note to tell you
how wonderful the slippers are. Finally I don’t have
to struggle at bedtime trying to get my feet warm.
They have also helped with Migraines by bringing the
blood back to my feet. Have just ordered another
pair."

About Cold Feet
|
"... My slippers
arrived yesterday and I have to tell you that these
are by far the best things I have ever bought
myself!! I was supposed to run errands today but
have decided to stay home and enjoy these things!! I
love them. I have told everyone I know and I believe
two of my friends will be placing orders today.
Thanks again! These slippers are great!!!"

"... I have CMT (Charcot Marie
Tooth Disease) and I wear my slippers almost daily,
as for us spoiled Californians, it has been very
cool this winter. When I come in after being outside
my feet are quite cold, so I heat the slippers to
warm my feet before going to bed and they have
worked very well to help me sleep. I thoroughly
enjoy them and would recommend them to anyone with
cold feet."

Taking Care of Your Body, Mind & Sole
How often do you think about your feet? Most people only think about them when they hurt. With all the pounding and harsh treatment we give our feet throughout our lives, it's no wonder that the majority of us have them on our minds more and more. During an average day, the feet support a combined force equivalent to several hundred tons. One fourth of the 206 bones in the human body are located in the feet.
Our feet are a very important part of everyday life. They support our entire body and are the primary means of transportation. The feet are very small relative to the rest of the body. The impact of every step exerts tremendous force upon the feet, approximately 50% greater than your body weight. When temperatures drop to a certain point, your body will conserve heat by shutting off the blood flow to your hands and feet - thus COLD FEET.
The body responds to cold weather by trying to protect core temperature. Blood flow is reduced to the extremities leaving the feet vulnerable. Decreased blood flow can lead to the death of tissue known as necrosis and can compromise the ability to fight infection. Localized pockets of infection can develop under the skin. This is known as abscess. The infection can spread up your leg, become cellulites and you will need intravenous antibiotics to treat it.
As a result of exposure to extreme cold weather and dry winter air in your house, you may experience dry, broken and sore skin on your feet. Scrapes or cracks in the skin can lead to severe infection with inadequate blood flow. Individuals who are affected by neuropathies are particularly vulnerable to cold and are at risk of serious complications by impeded circulation to the feet and legs. It is extremely important to keep our feet warm and to keep the skin moisturized. Because CosySoles heated socks and gloves contain a natural grain, when heated in the microwave, they are helpful for dry feet.
How CosySoles Heated Slippers and Hand Warmers Can Help
Chronic cold feet are often the result of impaired circulation and lack of mobility. Patients with Muscular Dystrophy, Multiple Sclerosis, Diabetes, Arthritis, Cerebral Palsy, CMT and other neuropathies often experience painfully cold feet. CosySoles feet warmers provide a direct heat source and they enclose the entire surface of the foot, providing more efficient heat distribution. The warm slippers also aid in treatment for dry, flaky skin. The microwave slippers are designed to allow the freedom to walk around without losing the heat source. CosySoles foot warmers are not at risk of increasing in temperature once placed on the foot.
